Great Joy in BeDazzling!

We've really enjoyed our extended family blogs and the photos that are posted! It's such an amazing miracle to be blessed with such technology that keeps us connected to family members and friends who live far away. Pondering the result of this great blessing truly gives us an attitude of gratitude to the Lord.

It was this attitude of joy and thanksgiving that prompted the desire to do some good with the meager talents that have blessed our very existence. Thus, here's the latest of our Joyful Bedazzling projects:

Blonde Seeholzers - Father and Son

Sorry the images aren't too clear.  That's what happens when you scan very old photos many years later. At least now, the images are digitally preserved.

Our next photo is a result of our beloved nephew's comment when I Bedazzled one of his family photos.  Said he, "I think I would like to sparkle."  So, we decided to 'SParKLe' him. (His slightly older cousin suggested I sparkle him with the pink hat that he used to sport in his Facebook profile photo -(before he was married!).

Here's the Pink Hat Sparkled Nephew:

Any BeDaZzLinG requests??

OUR INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY FOCUS is from an address by Pres. Dieter F Uchtdorf:

"In spite of how bleak things looked from my earthly vantage point, I knew that above the clouds the sun beamed brightly like a dazzling jewel in an ocean of blue skies.

...Although it was a breathtaking experience to break through the clouds and fly to the bright blue horizon, that is nothing compared to the wonders of what we all can experience as we lift up our hearts in humble and earnest prayer.

Dazzling Sun by NASA
Prayer helps us transcend the stormy times.

It gives us a glimpse of that blue sky that we cannot see from our earthly vantage point,

and it reveals to us another vista—

a glorious spiritual horizon filled with hope
Dazzling Sun, Moon and Stars

and the assurance of the bright blessings the Lord has promised

to those who love and follow Him."

We were wondering how he had acquired a pink hat! Good to know it's not really his! I can't even imagine you without a smile. And we are grateful for your many talents, too, which bless us immensely with great joy!
