President Boyd K. Packer, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles: WE ARE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS!

Our Scriptures today consist of the Bible, The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, The Doctrine of Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price. We are often called Mormons, but this is not accurate. The scriptures tell us that we should take upon us the name of Christ and be Called of His Name. We are called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to proclaim the Name of the Savior through-out the world. We should use the full name, which is preferred.  In our speech, we should remember that we belong to The Church of Jesus Christ. In the Church, every Ordinance is done under the authority and in the Name of Jesus Christ.  The Church is the same as organized by Jesus Christ. The Savior gave His authority to His Disciples and His 12 Apostles.

In 1829, the Priesthood was restored to Joseph Smith by John the Baptist, and later by Peter, James and John.  Now, all worthy men are ordained to the Priesthood under the authority and in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Others may not accept prophecy, revelation and the Gift of the Holy Ghost, but they need to understand that WE ACCEPT IT!  A Latter-day Saint is taught to be “In the world” but not “Of the world”.  It is not easy to be a Latter-day Saint, but in the long-run it is worth it!  Everyone of us can be guided by the Spirit of revelation and the Gift of the Holy Ghost.  This Church, by the Lord’s own declaration is the Only True and Living Church and contains the great Plan of Happiness.

Nuestras Escrituras consisten hoy en la Biblia, El Libro de mormón, Otro Testamento de Jesucristo, La Doctrina de Convenios, y de La Pearl de Gran Precio. Nosotros a menudo somos llamados a mormones, pero esto no es exacto. Las escrituras nos dicen que debemos tomar sobre nosotros el nombre de Cristo y Somos Llamados de Su Nombre. Somos llamados La Iglesia de Jesucristo de Mormones a proclamar el Nombre del Salvador a través del mundo. Debemos utilizar el nombre y apellidos, que es preferido. En nuestro discurso, nosotros debemos recordar que pertenecemos a La Iglesia de Jesucristo. En la Iglesia, cada Ordenanza es hecha bajo la autoridad y en el Nombre de Jesucristo. ¡Otros no pueden aceptar profecía, la revelación y el Regalo del Espíritu Santo, pero deben comprender que LO ACEPTAMOS! Un Mormón es enseñado a ser "En el mundo" pero no "Del mundo". ¡No es fácil de ser un Mormón, pero en el a largo plazo lo vale! Todos de nosotros pueden ser indicados por el Espíritu de revelación y el Regalo del Espíritu Santo. Esta Iglesia, por la declaración propia de Señor es El Unico Verdadero y la Iglesia Viva y contiene el gran Plan de la Felicidad.

Elder Russell M. Nelson, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles: Face the Future With Faith

As you pray for us, we pray for you! 

We live to die, and then we live again.  As Apostles and Prophets, we are not only concerned with our own children and grandchildren, but for your children and grandchildren and we concerned for each of God’s children.  Parents bear the primary responsibility to show our Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to our children. Teach them our Faith and of the Plan of Salvation. Teach of Faith to keep all the commandments that will bring them joy. The practice of picking and choosing will not work. We must obey all of the commandments.  The Lord will bless us with more light when we are obedient.  Teach of Faith to know obedience will provide physical and spiritual protection. God’s holy angels will help us with His angels round about us to bear us up. Unfailing Faith is fortified with prayer. If we pray with an eternal perspective, we need not wonder whether our prayers are heard.  Believe Him! God will hear our heart-felt prayers. Tithing is a precious privilege and an ancient commandment. Each of us will be tested as the Apostle Paul warned us about persecution. We have a Divine Nature and an inheritance of Infinite Worth. We are to be the Lord’s Standard Bearers. We are to be a Light and a Savior unto the Lord’s people. The Blessings of the Melchizedek Priesthood holds the keys to all the spiritual Blessings of the Church.  The greatest Blessings are given in the Holy Temples of the Lord. We do not have to fight life’s battles alone. The Lord will fight our battles. Though the rain clouds pour down upon us, the blessings of the Lord will shower from heaven.

¡Como ora para nosotros, nosotros oramos para usted!

Vivimos para morirse, y entonces nosotros vivimos otra vez. Como apóstoles y Profetas, nosotros no sólo somos concernidos con nuestros propios niños y nietos, pero para sus niños y nietos y nosotros concernimos para cada uno de los niños de Dios. Los padres soportan la responsabilidad primaria para mostrar a nuestra Faith en el Señor Jesucristo a nuestros niños. Enséñeles nuestra Faith y del Plan de Salvación. Enseñe de Faith a mantener todos los mandamientos que los traerán alegría. La práctica de escoger y escoger no trabajará. Debemos obedecer todos los mandamientos. El Señor nos bendecirá con más ligero cuando somos obedientes. Enseñe de Faith a saber que obediencia proporcionará la protección física y espiritual. Los ángeles santos de dios nos ayudarán con Sus ángeles redondeamos acerca de nosotros animarsenos. Faith indefectible es fortificada con oración. Si oramos con una perspectiva eterna, nosotros no debemos preguntarnos si nuestras oraciones son oídas. ¡CréaLo! Dios oirá nuestras oraciones sinceras. Dar el diezmo es un privilegio precioso y un antiguo mandamiento. Cada uno de nosotros será probado como el apóstol Paul nos advirtió acerca de persecución. Tenemos una Naturaleza Divina y una herencia de Valor Infinito. Somos de ser los abanderados del Señor. Somos de ser una Luz y un Salvador a las personas del Señor. Las Bendiciones del Sacerdocio de Melchizedek tienen las llaves a todas las Bendiciones espirituales de la Iglesia. Las Bendiciones más grandes son rendidas los Templos Santos del Señor. Nosotros no tenemos que luchar las batallas de la vida sólo. El Señor luchará nuestras batallas. Aunque los nubarrones vierten sobre nosotros, las bendiciones del Señor regarán de los cielos.

Elder Richard J. Maynes, First Quorum of the Seventy: Families Can Be Together Forever in a Christ-Centered Home

The Doctrine that Families can be together forever.  Being offspring of a loving Heavenly Father is a basic principle of the Gospel as taught in “I Am A Child of God”.  Recognizing that we have an earthly family helps us in our families on earth.  It is critical to understand the divine and eternal nature of the family. Our eternal happiness is not one of Satan’s objectives. True happiness in this life and in the eternities is found within family life.  Happiness in family life is most likely achieved when founded on the doctrines of Jesus Christ.  We need to establish a Christ-centered home with daily prayer and scripture study.  Our children may not remember any words said or prayed but they will remember being taught and praying together. 

As we strive make our families centered on Christ, our homes can truly feel like heaven on earth.

La Doctrina que Familias pueden ser juntos para siempre. Ser progenitura de un Padre Celestial amoroso es un principio básico del Evangelio como enseñó en "Soy UN Niño de Dios". Reconocer que tenemos una familia terrenal nos ayuda en nuestras familias en la tierra. Es crítico comprender la naturaleza divina y eterna de la familia. Nuestra felicidad eterna a no uno de los objetivos de Satanás. La felicidad verdadera en esta vida y en las eternidades es encontrado dentro de la vida doméstica. La felicidad en la vida doméstica es más probable logró cuando fundó en las doctrinas de Jesucristo. Debemos establecer un Cristo-Centró en casa con oración y escritura diarias estudia. Nuestros niños no pueden recordar que ninguna palabra dijo ni oró pero recordarán de ser enseñados y orando juntos.

Como nos esforzamos la marca que nuestras familias se cifraron en a Cristo, nuestros hogares pueden sentirse sinceramente como el cielo en la tierra.

Elder Cecil O. Samuelson Jr.,  First Quorum of the Seventy:  Consider the Matter of Our Testimony

Everyone who is willing to pay the price may have a testimony.  The promise given for obtaining a testimony of The Book of Mormon by praying and asking will give you a witness of the Holy Ghost of the truth. This pattern holds for all spiritual things. 

Everyone has worth as a Child of God.  We must experience trials and be stretched. Sharing our testimonies strengthens others and ourselves.  People do good and important things because they have testimonies. “I know God lives and loves us and that Jesus is the Christ.”

Todos que está dispuesto a pagar el precio puede tener un testimonio. La promesa dada para obtener un testimonio de El Libro de mormón orando y pedir le dará un testigo del Espíritu Santo de la verdad. Esta pauta tiene para todas las cosas espirituales.

Todos tienen valor como un Niño de Dios. Debemos experimentar ensayos y somos estirado. Compartir nuestros testimonios refuerzan otros y nosotros mismos. Las personas hacen cosas buenas e importantes porque tienen testimonios. "Sé que Dios vive y nos adora y que Jesús es el Cristo".

Elder Dallin H. Oaks, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles: Our Desires

We have common desires of basic needs; such as food. But a stronger desire can overcome the need for food, such as the desire to Fast. In overcoming the need to sleep, we can also have the power of an over-riding desire in wanting to make sure others are safe and will arrive home safely.  The power of an over-riding desire can have great influence upon us as parents, teachers, and leaders. The Lord will grant our DESIRES because of our LABORS and FAITH.  The Lord will judge all of us according to the desire of our works. We are all tempted to desire worldly possessions and prominence, but can heed the warnings and choose to follow the desires of the Lord.  When we have a vision of what we can become, our power and our desire to act are strengthened significantly. We should remember that righteous heartfelt, unwavering and motivated. We must be willing to give away all of our sins to know God. Eternal life requires that we desire and acquire the qualities of a Celestial being by loving all of God’s children and desiring to serve them. A paramount desire is to secure an eternal Temple marriage. We need righteous desires to become a true friend, a teacher or one who has qualified for eternal life.

Tenemos deseos comunes de necesidades básicas; como alimento. Pero un deseo más fuerte puede vencer la necesidad para el alimento, como el deseo a Rápidamente. A vencer la necesidad de dormir, nosotros también podemos tener el poder de un deseo de anulación de automatismo a querer asegurarse de que están a salvo y llegarán en casa sin peligro. El poder de un deseo de anulación de automatismo puede tener gran influencia sobre nosotros como padres, los maestros, y los líderes. El Señor otorgará nuestros DESEOS a causa de nuestros TRABAJOS y FE. El Señor juzgará todos nosotros según el deseo de nuestros trabajo. Somos tentados todo desear posesiones y prominencia materiales, pero puede hacer caso de las advertencias y escoger seguir los deseos del Señor. Cuando tenemos una visión de lo que podemos llegar a ser, nuestro poder y nuestro deseo para actuar son reforzados apreciablemente. Debemos recordar que justo sincero, firme y motivados. Debemos estar dispuestos a regalar todos nuestros pecados a conocer a Dios. La vida eterna requiere que deseamos y adquirimos las calidades de un ser Celestial adorando los niños de todo Dios y deseando de servirlos. Un deseo supremo es de asegurar un casamiento eterno del Templo. Necesitamos deseos justos para llegar a ser un amigo verdadero, un maestro o uno que ha calificado para la vida eterna.

Elder M. Russell Ballard, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles: Spring Brings a Renewal of Life and Light in Remembrance of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

Spiritual Truth: By small means are great things brought to pass.  Focus on those things that matter most: the precious Gift of Eternal Life.  We must love God and Christ with all our souls, hearts, and minds. This principle will purify and sanctify us. We must love one another as He has loved us. We must love and serve others through kind and simple acts.  Charity begins at home. Practice the Golden Rule at home and in the Church.  We can rescue others through kind acts of love and service. We can fellowship through service.  We can reach out to our communities and lend a helping hand. We can make friendships through kindness and helping another.  The future growth of the Church will not happen just by knocking on doors, but by those kind and charitable deeds that show love. Missionary works requires that we are sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Ghost to know who needs our service and small deliberate deeds. We can lose ourselves in service to others. We should desire and seek to possess the Gift of Charity, the Pure Love of Christ, as followers of Jesus Christ.  Our small acts of kind and simple service will accumulate into a life filled with love.

La Verdad espiritual: Por pequeños medios son gran cosas ocasionaron. Céntrese en esas cosas que importan más: el Regalo precioso de la Vida Eterna. Debemos adorar Dios y a Cristo con todos nuestras almas, con los corazones, y con las mentes. Este principio purificará y nos santificará. Debemos adorar el uno al otro como nos ha adorado. Debemos adorar y debemos servir otros por clase y actos sencillos. La caridad empieza en casa. Practique la Regla de oro en casa y en la Iglesia. Podemos rescatar otros por actos amables del amor y el servicio. Podemos confraternidad por el servicio. Podemos llegar a nuestras comunidades y dejar una mano auxiliar. Podemos hacer amistades por la bondad y ayudando otro. El futuro crecimiento de la Iglesia no sucederá simplemente por golpear en puertas, pero por esas clase y los actos caritativos que muestran el amor. Los trabajo del misionero requieren que somos sensibles a los escrúpulos del Espíritu Santo saber quién necesita nuestro servicio y pequeños actos deliberados. Podemos perdernos en el servicio a otros. Debemos desear y debemos procurar poseer el Regalo de la Caridad, el Puro Amor de Cristo, como seguidores de Jesucristo. Nuestros pequeños actos de clase y servicio sencillo acumularán en una vida llenó del amor.
