Just so you can appreciate our surroundings and mode of transportation, I thought I'd begin this post with remembrances of our Ancestors. Specifically, our GGrandfather, John Henry Hendricks was the stage driver in 1901 for the stage coach through West Yellowstone. Don't you just wish this photo was in color! And did you notice the falls in the background?
Since Mom and Dad live here, too, we should label our Home "Bevan-Atkinson Resort", but that title just doesn't have the same ring!
Even so, where else could you have miles of flat riding around a beautiful lake except in Florida! Yes, we definitely live in a spot where Heaven meets Earth!
Our INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY focus for today is by Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley:

"The Boldness of the Pioneers - I marvel at the boldness—rather, I prefer to characterize it as the faith—of the leaders and members of the Church in that pioneering era to stretch their relatively small membership and their limited resources so far in carrying the gospel to distant lands. First, it is apparent to all that we live in a world being made “smaller” by modern transportation methods."

I love this photo of Grandma and Papa. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like it! Grandma wasn't sure if she wanted to be 'posted'. They prefer just reading your blog - which is really good!
Hope you'll check out some of our later posts as this is only our 3rd, and we're trying to do better! http://bevanresort.blogspot.com/2009/11/falling-leaves.html
